It is an interesting video showing the advances the robotics community is making with Artificial Intelligence in relation to cognitive functioning. Robots (as well as Virtual Agents) are incorporating more of a human element to their user interface to augment the friendly feel and personable connection between man and machine.
Developing "humanoid" robots that are able to, in a sense, feel emotions, is a controversial topic. Are robots created to enhance our lives? Are we venturing into uncharted territory?
